Dr Judith Caton’s interest in useful native plants resulted from her study of plants in forager diets compared with those eaten by modern humans. She has many year’s experience as a teacher of biological sciences.
Richard Hardwick is the author of the highly successful Nature’s Larder, a guide to the plant foods of the NSW South Coast. He is an expert in the use native plants for food fibre and medicines.
Both Richard and Judith are actively involved in teaching and research at the Kioloa Coastal Campus of The Australian National University (the Edith and Joy London Foundation).
